if i am going to lift my lawn mower and i want to use a live axle what is the best size sporkets on the tranaxle and on the live axle and what size pulley should i use on the tranaxle and can anyone give tips on the lifting like that

ha you always need help but how fast do you want to go and to lift it, if you dont a have a welder use thick angle iron and flat bar and make a sub frame type of thing with square tubing and if you do have a welder use square tubing and make a sub frame that way

most posts dont include enough info. there is no magic number for lifts and pulley size. it all depends on motor size, tire size, tx ratio, use of the mower (street or trail)  how fast you are comfortable going on a lifted mower with sloppy steering and on and on. start buying stuff and find what you like. if you have a tight budget, then you are stuck with what the psychics tell you what to buy

why not just use a belt with 1:1 pulleys and a drive shaft to the trans axle?

the motor that i am running is a 16hp and go as fast as like 30mph for the trail with 25 tires the tx ratio is 1:1
