Any one ever made ur own brake sys.been looking at a disc setup but they anit that cheap.

you can use calipers and a master cyl from a junk motorbike and roters off a junk car. http://www.xtrememowermayhem.com/aboutus.htm the first pick is enforcers breaks biult with left over parts from bikes and rotoers from a car

Also you can use the brake assemblies from pocket bikes . They aren`t that expensive, about $20  to $30 dollars  and cheaper on FleaBay.

Sometime i want to run to the local junkyard n see if they have any small cars i could get a disc setup off ( caliper/hub/rotor/mastercylender) -  i had the chance to buy a smaller motorcycle brake setup for like $100- never got around to getting it tho.

Yeah, I still gotta figure at brakes for my mudder too.  It rolls incredibly well on the flat for a mower, and that isnt a good thing without brakes!

I think Im gonna go down the route of go kart or pocket bike brakes, seeing as my mudder goes no faster than 20mph.
