just picked up a ford LGT195 for $350. thought the 100 was a tank ... the tires off of the swamp buggy will fit on this thing. motor is kinda sloppy, but it had f/r aux hydraulics, power steering and 3 pt rear hitch, and a 60" mower deck. makes the 100 look like a puss(BTW the thing in the BG is a toyota camry with a 3" lift and the back cut out..... better than a golf cart .... cheaper than a gator)

Repower $1200 - $1500 for Briggs. Looking into 1600cc Bug motor. Should be able to pick one up for under $800. right out of the box was 50HP, so 35 to 40HP should work fine. (thought about the camry motor.. too long and I will lose my gator) I can do wide, not so much long

That is a yard stick for perspective.. so the 38" decks wont even cover the tire tracks on this one

People sell the weirdest stuff on craigslist - you scored big time tho with that - plus you have a decent supply of scrap steel for patches on stuff to boot - nice score! Looks sorta like a sweeper or something.....

Yep. Its a Tennant 240 street sweeper. It has been repainted army green. I think it was used to sweep hangers at an air base. It weighs 1900 pounds and has a huge vickers hydraulic pump. 23 hp kohler with a 1 7/16 shaft. almost a direct replacement for the 20 on the 195. runs good even on 3 year old gas

The frame on this thing is made out of 3/16 steel. Plenty of spare parts. I will use the steering column to up grade the swamp buggy. it has a few hydraulic cylinders and 3 hydraulic motors for the brooms and blower ( 60 rpm on the brooms, not sure what to use them for) I will keep the 4ft broom and make it work on the 195 for sweeping the shop. It might work better on a zero turn, just have see.

got it running tonight. the thing scoots pretty good in high gear. bogs down a little just trying to move itself. think the carb needs cleaned and probably a kit. have not got the 60" deck on it yet. it should knock out the yard real quick. Didnt feel like giving this one complete paint job just yet. shot it with some rattle can rustoleum . might give it a good paint job after the grass quits growing. now I need to start on the 5' blade and loader

Got it running good now. it had a bad spark plug. got the 60" deck on it. cracked up quit a bit, but the bearing and blades are in good shape. it is a mowing s.o.b. and holds the hills like crazy. have not got the sides on it yet. still running a stack on the sweeper exhaust manifold. didnt want to hack up the sheet metal to fit around it.
