ok me and my buddy need a little help we are building two vtwin monster lawnmowers. we need to know the type of metal we should use how to extend spindles for bigger wheels cause we want to run 31 or 33's they both have 18hp will it turn them and how will the rear turn the wheels when lifted. and also how do we make it go faster do we take gears out the rear etc. thanks and yall have helped already alot. Go as large as y can - spindles, bracing, axles - using wheels that big and large engines, youll break anything less then 1" or up. Use a trans from a large garden tractor - with the bigger axles . | |

As far as what type of metal. 1141 HRS. Hot Roll Steel. Adding larger tires already increased speed. | |

i use 1/4 thick square tubing and spindels from a hay wagon for the front end

you can kinda see the frame in this one, just after i put on some 35's. took them off and put the 33's back on tho
