how dose everyone feel about welding to the TX?  like welding to the stubs for the gear shifter and the drive spindle.  My idea was to not weld to anything incase I had to take the TX apart, how often if at all is a TX rebuilt where that would be a problem?

just gound real close to where you are welding.

I have welded to axles and shifters without any problem.

dont ground to the axle if you are going to weld on the shifter
