im buying a mig welder from harbore freight tomorrow morning. It on sale for 90 bucks and i got a 20 percent off coupon to use to. ive read the reviews and they seem good everyone says the get the .035 licoln wire witch i prbly will. ill see if its good i hope so. | |

It might be a good starter welder on a budget and might be just fine for what you need. Eventually you will find it wont do the heavier stuff very good and the low duty cycle is a pain in the a$$. one of the cheapest top end 110v migs is the hobart 140, the 220v 160 is real good too. But it is about 5X the price you are looking at now. cheap welders are good for body work and light fabrication. | |

it seemed to do pretty good at mkn bumpers and stuff like that on a lawn mower. I have a pulln tractor so ill se if i can weld and bolt on the weight bars and wheelie bars. | |

I have one of those welders it seems to work good i really use it alot for mower fabrication jobs and everything has held up so far.

i used it to weld up a front bumper and winch bracket and it eld good | |

I have that kind of welder. Works great!!!....I go to Harbor Freight ALL THE TIME....LOL | |
