I am building a murray select and i am putting 35s on the rear and 32s in the front and was wondering how to make rear hubs so i can bolt the tires on. The front i am going to use a trailer hub with bearings in it. I also need to know if its possible to use leaf springs in it to lift it up rather than building a sub frame because i dont have a welder?? if any one could give me some ideas it would really help

hmmm....no welder.......you can buy one from Harbor Freight for around $100.00..... I have used that for 3 years--its a good starter. You can try using leaf springs BUT I would also use shocks to keep it stable. OR ---- built a sub-frame,but use grade 8 bolts and locking nuts to all connections. Where are you located?....if your near Green Bay Wis..you can stop by the shop and I can make you rear hubs.

im in green cove springs florida. I do have someone that can weld my hubs but he wont let me use the welder for anything else and do you just cut the mounting tabs for the frontend when you lift it and reattach it with plate steel?? I was gonna lift it 10 inches. I also am going to widen the front 3 inches to make it so i can turn the tires fully. Could i just weld a steel plate to the old rear rims and put the lug studs in it and weld it??

OOHHHH......and also..you can use a rear axle / hub assembly from any type of rear wheel drive car. Just would need to modify it. Look at a salvage yard or craiglist.
