Xtreme Mower Mayhem

I have a John Deere Stx 38 an i have a problem wit a lot of slack on the steering. I was wondering how to fix this. I know i need to put bushings on the end of the tie rods by the wheels. But theres slack in the gears on the end of the steering wheel rod. Does any one know how to fix this?

sounds like a worn bushing. $3 part and 3 hours to put it in.
